My Review:
by Susan Ee in November 2013. I love many books and I have a lot of favorite
ones, but this book is one of my all-time favorites. From the moment I started
reading this book I was completely addicted. And because this book is one of my
favorite books, I decided to post my review on my blog. Because this book just
has to be shared. And the best thing about this book?? It’s a series!!!
‘Angelfall’ by Susan Ee when I was shopping in Amsterdam. My eyes saw this
sticker at the front saying ‘The Internet Phenomenon’ and off course I just had
to read where this book was about. I read the summary and decided this was
definitely my kind of book.
is the story of Penryn, a 17 year old girl living in a world where angels
returned on earth and destroyed the world as they know it. When Penryn’s little
sister Paige is taken away by the angels, Penryn is determined to find her
sister. But how will she find her sister in a world run by dangerous and evil
angels? Penryn will do anything for her sister and soon she makes a rush
decision to help an injured angel so she can find a way into the angels
headquarters.
I really loved this book from the first page on. This book is just so well
written that you are hooked from the first page. I loved the chemistry between
Penryn and Raffe and just couldn’t put this book down. I just needed to know
what would happen next. I really loved everything about this book. And the
sticker at the front of this book is definitely right: this book is phenomenal.
This book is definitely on my favorite list and I would recommend this book to
every fantasy/paranormal/YA lover out there. Thankfully this book is the first one in the ‘Penryn and the End of Days’ series so there’s gonna be much more Penryn and Raffe to read about. 😀
