I love Maisey Yates. Her books have never disappointed me. So every time I’m looking for a good romantic read, Maisey Yates is definitely one of my go-to authors. And after a very busy and intense week I was desperately in need for a fun cowboy story. So when I saw ‘Smooth- Talking Cowboy’ on Amazon I just couldn’t resist and had to get a copy. Especially when I read this is the story of Luke Hollister. I read about his character in the other books by Maisey Yates, and always wanted to read more about him. And now I finally was able to.
In ‘Smooth-Talking Cowboy’ we meet Olivia Logan and Luke Hollister. Olivia is the towns good girl. Olivia has always known how her life would be like. She would marry her handsome friend, and would go life on his ranch and be a good wife. But when her relationships ends, her future plans seem to be far off. To get her ex back, Olivia has a plan to hang with the town’s playboy Luke. But there has always been something between Olivia and Luke, and soon things change for good.
Maisey Yaites definitely didn’t disappoint with ‘Smooth-Talking Cowboy’. This story was fun, romantic and filled with cowboy’s. I definitely enjoyed reading this one. Olivia’s character wasn’t my favorite, she seemed to be this spoiled woman for a long time, but thankfully I began to like her more and more the further the book went. And her relationship with Luke was really fun to read about.
Luke’s character was definitely my favorite in this book. He was fun, easygoing and a much better man than he gave himself credit for. I loved him. And the romance between Luke and Olivia was really fun to read about. Their chemistry was amazing and I couldn’t read this book fast enough.
In the end I found that everything happened a little to-fast in the last chapters, but I still really enjoyed this book. And I can’t wait to read more.

This sounds like a great story! I love when the playboy falls for the good girl! I especially en joy reading about how the girl wants to make a certain character jealous, but then falls in love with the person that she least expects to. Great Review Maureen!
