Today I’m super excited to share the start of my 5th Blogiversary celebration week with you guys. Five Years of Blogging!! Wow!! I can’t believe how fast the last five years have gone by. I started Maureen’s Books with no expectations, just wanting to write stuff about the books I read. I never imagined people reading the things I wrote. But luckily for me, Maureen’s Books slowly began to gain visitors and now we are five years further, I still receive many review requests and enjoy every minute of my time here on Maureen’s Books.
A lot has happened this last year. I got pregnant and had to prepare for our baby girl, so my reading and blogging time was a little down. But now our baby girl is almost 7.5 months old, and I’m so happy that I found a balance between wife life, mom life, work life and my blogging life. I still love reading, reviewing and blogging about books as much as I did five years ago. Maybe even more.. but what I love most is you guys! Interacting with fellow book lovers is what makes this experience so great.
So this year, since it’s my five year blogiversary.. and I’m pretty damn proud of that.. I decided to do something big. This whole upcoming week will all be about celebrating the last five years. And how better to do that than celebrate with some of my favorite authors and fellow blogger? So keep an eye out this next week because there will be lots of great posts and lots of giveaways!

Glad your life got back in order. If i could go back in time, I would have strolled my baby around a lot more so that I could read. I do it now in the hallways of my apartment, when he’s two,and he loves it.
