‘I Let You Go’ is one of those books I’ve been wanting to
read for a long time, but just never got to. I remember reading about this book
when it wasn’t even published yet, and it sounded like such an interesting read.
So when I was browsing through my reading list to see what I wanted to read
next, and saw a copy of ‘I Let You Go’ lying on the shelf, I knew it was time
to start reading this one.

‘I Let You Go’ is written through the eyes of two very
different people with very different lives. For one we have Detective Inspector
Ray Stevens, and we have Jenna Gray an artist who lost something terrible.
Reading about these two very different characters was really a lot of fun. From
the moment I started reading I was interested and fascinated by these
characters and their stories. The author definitely did a great job in keeping
me hooked to every single page. Especially since from the very beginning you
just ‘feel’ there is more to this story then gets told. Some very impressing
writing if you ask me.

This book was just a great read. The characters were
interesting, there was enough mystery to keep me hooked to the pages and the
story had a good flow. I loved it from the beginning till the very end.

I saw a lot of references to the bestseller ‘The Girl on
the Train ‘ when I read some reviews about this book. But to be honest, ‘I Let
You Go’ to me is a much better story.

‘I Let You Go’ was not only a thrilling book, it also
made you want to scream sometimes. One of the characters goes through some
stuff that are just horrible, and sometimes it was hard to read about. But I
kept going, and would definitely recommend this book to all other readers out
there.
