Interview with Peiri Ann:
creatures, and unwritten possibilities.
Writing is a passion. I fell in love with it when I was a child and I am
privileged to share it with all my readers. I love writing fun/tragic
adventurous novels with strong romantic elements from YA to New Adult. My
sub-genres are paranormal, sci-fi, dystopia, contemporary, suspense, and
fantasy. My favorite out of all of those is PNR. I love romance with a twist,
it lets me be creative and venture off to new worlds.
I fell in love with words. I fell in love with how you can give something so
small, something you can’t even hold, feelings… and feel from it.
friend about a book I had recently read. The book was lacking here and there
and I began to explain to my friend “I just can’t find a book that give me
exactly what I want.” Her response to me was, “Well, why don’t you write your
own book and put in it everything you want? I didn’t take her serious at first,
but after I continued reading other books and wishing they had more or
something different, I took her up on her challenge. So I guess, I have to give
credit to her, my friend at my old job, because had she not suggest I write my
own book, I may not have.
favorite types of books. I love books that take me out of reality, that make me
forget about the world, that makes me dream about them. Those are my favorite
books.

control the outcome. I get the ending I want, the climax I love. I get to
actually feel and fall in love with characters on an entirely different level
from being a reader. Authors have an upper hand, we know our characters like
the back of hand, we know what drives them, what breaks their hearts, what
kills, them and what makes them strong. That is an amazing part about writing.

keyboard or phone even, and my fingers just move. It’s like I almost blackout,
give way to the character, scenes, and events crowding my mind. When I come
back to reality, there is often anywhere between two to ten thousand words on
the screen and they make a story. It makes no sense to me, but that’s how it
happens. I don’t’ write the story, they story writes itself.
my readers and friends. I love networking and meeting new people, laughing with
strangers until they become friends. The support and the encouragement you get
some fans and friends. That’s a love you can’t find anywhere else in this
career.
remember, write for you. Write what you love and enjoy what you write. Everyone
on the planet is not going to love your story, it’s just something we have to
accept. But when you do this for you because this something you enjoy, the pay
back is so much greater than doing it for the world.
plan to explore other genres like thriller and maybe a paranormal read with no
romance. That maybe be hard considering I’m a romance author. But we’ll see!
