After reading ‘The Hookup Equation’ in March, I knew I wanted to read more books by Roxie Noir. So when I saw the sign up for ‘One Last Time’, I didn’t hesitate one moment and signed up. ‘One Last Time’ is a standalone novel, and the final book in the Loveless Brothers series.

In ‘One Last Time’ we meet Seth and Delilah. Ever since they where teens Seth and Delilah have been each other’s weakness. Their relationship has always been kind of intense and over the years they broke each other’s heart often. So two years ago they made a deal to just stay away from each other. But with chemistry like that of Seth and Delilah, staying away is almost impossible.

To be honest it took me a little while to really get into this story. I just wanted to know why Seth and Delilah acted to strangely to each other. And it took some time before we really found out that reason. But these characters have something that made me want to keep on reading, and soon I began to love this story.

The relationship between Seth and Delilah is definitely a complicated one. There has happened a lot between these two and they just can’t seem to get past it. What I think I loved most about these two is the way their relationship seemed real. It was definitely not perfect, which made it seem more real than most romance stories. I mean, in real life who’s relationship is always good? It’s hard work, and in this book the characters both have to work hard for their happy ending.

Next to the romance, this book also made me laugh several times. It was just so funny at times. Which was the perfect blend next to the very serious relationship issues.

Although this is only the second book in this series I read, I can definitely say this series is one I really enjoyed. And I can’t wait to read the books I haven’t read yet.
