First of
all I’d like to say Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends. I hope you all
have a great day with lots of amazing food and the people you love around you.
I’m already jealous of all those gorgeous looking recipes that are being made
and shared on Social Media. LOL!! Have fun and be thankful.

Although I
live in the Netherlands and we obviously don’t celebrate Thanksgiving today, since
it’s an annual holiday in the United States, I found myself thinking about all
those things I’m thankful for. And in a world that’s sometimes very hard and
brutal, it can be nice to think of the things your grateful for and I’d like to
share a view of those things with you.

I’m grateful for my husband. Without him I would not be here today, doing
what I love, believing in myself and having in faith in our love. He is my rock,
my hero and the love of my life and I’m thankful I now can say I’m his wife.

I’m grateful
for my beautiful strong mother and her kind loving man. I’m grateful they found
each other, and I get to see them happy. And I’m grateful to be their daughter.

I’m grateful
for my family and family-in-law. Although we are not your run-of-the-mill
family I’m grateful for you and for the things we get to share together. Life
is definitely interesting with all of you.

I’m
grateful for my job as a Nurse. I’m grateful I get to help people in their roughest
moments.  Although it’s sometimes hard, I
am thankful I get to be a Nurse and meet so many different people and learn little
bits and pieces about their lives.

And, I’m
grateful for people that inspire me to be a better person. People around me,
but also people across the world who I only know through social media. Even
though there are some crazy people out there, getting so see, read, watch all of
you guys gives me hope for this world.

Happy
Thanksgiving!
