In the last view months I’ve read several Max Monroe novels. And I laughed, loved and adored all of them. So obviously I couldn’t not try to get my hands on a copy and was super excited to receive an ARC.
In ‘Taming Hollywood’s Baddest Boy’ we meet Billie, a wannabe movie producer, living in Hollywood. It has been her dream for a long time, to become a producer. So she shadow’s one of Hollywood’s bests producers with the hope of one day getting the chance to become the best herself. In a battle to be her boss’s best employer she announces she knows notorious and famous Hollywood star Luca Weaver, and can get him to act in her new movie. The only problem is, the guy hasn’t been seen in public in years and Billie definitely doesn’t know him.
This book was from the start another funny and great read. I loved it. Billie is this fun, hard working woman who is known to sometimes say stuff before she really things them through. And claiming to know a famous ‘missing’ author is definitely something she hasn’t thought long and hard about. But I loved how strong willed and determined Billie was. Even if everything sounded impossible, she would try everything before giving up.
A big part of this book takes place in Alaska and it was so much fun letting my mind wonder about that beautiful part of nature. Luca has been living in a cabin deep in the woods for almost 8 years. And the last thing he expects is finding a blond beautiful woman, who seems to not enjoy nature that much, on his property. The conversations between Billie and Luca where from the start so fun to read. I loved how these two interacted with each other and the setting of Alaska was just very enjoyable.
The chemistry between Billie and Luca was my favorite part of this book. It was flying of the pages, and I just couldn’t get enough of them. Although Luca seemed like this horrible guy, there was so much more to him and his story and I just adored him.
And yes, this book was definitely making me laugh out loud again several times. It was just so much fun to read this book, I simple couldn’t stop. It was like I was witnessing Billie and Luca’s story in real life and I just had to know what was going to happen next. Max Monroe definitely always delivers in the Romance and Humor department.
‘Taming Hollywood’s Baddest Boy’ is another great read. Perfect for making you swoon and laugh.
After reading ‘My Brother’s Billionaire Best Friend’ and ‘The Billionaire Book Club’ it wasn’t a hard decision to request and ARC of ‘The Billionaire’s Forbidden Little Sister’. And when I received the email telling me I got an ARC I couldn’t be more excited and started reading as fast as I could.
In ‘The Billionaire’s Forbidden Little Sister’ we read the story of Lena and Theo. I’ve been curious about Lena’s story every since I read about her in ‘My Brother’s Billionaire Best Friend’ and reading about her again made me laugh from the beginning. Lena’s character is this wild, slightly crazy girl who I really have nothing in common with, but who’s character really makes me jealous at times. I mean, I would have liked to be as wild and free as she is! And Theo’s character is definitely nothing like Lena either. Theo is a workaholic and rarely has time for fun. His life is planned to the second. More my kind of type. LOL!!
Although I liked Lena’s character, I loved Theo. He was just so thoughtful and serious. I loved reading how he thought about certain stuff and how he started to care more and more about Lena. He really was very grown up for a guy! LOL!
The chemistry between Lena and Theo took me some time to really feel, but when I did feel it, I couldn’t get enough of them. It was really fun to read about how they fell for each other. Sure, the whole meeting in Italy without them knowing Lena’s brother was Theo’s best friend, felt a little farfetched. But it was just believable enough that I bought it.
‘The Billionaire’s Forbidden Little Sister’ is written from both characters point of views and it is definitely another great, making-me-laugh-out-loud read by Man Monroe. I sure can’t get enough of these writers.
A view weeks ago I read my first Max Monroe book and really loved it. So when I saw that there was another book by Max Monroe coming, I couldn’t resist and wanted to read more. After reading the book description, and reading something about a book club I just knew this was a book I needed to read.
If you haven’t read a Max Monroe novel before, I suggest you start doing so right away. These authors (yes, it’s a collaboration between two romance authors) really have a way of writing that makes me laugh out loud many times throughout the book. I mean.. crazy, out loud snoring!! And thankfully this book made me laugh as much as the previous book I read by them ‘My Brother’s Billionaire Best Friend’.
In ‘The Billionaire Book Club’ we meet Caplin. Cap is definitely what you call a player. He doesn’t take a lot serious, and he goes through woman like most people go through food. It’s definitely bad. But woman throw themselves on Cap willingly, and he never makes anyone think he want more than sex. But when Cap meets Ruby his life changes immediately. Ruby isn’t like any other woman he has ever met. She doesn’t take his crap, and she definitely doesn’t want him. Or is she maybe just a great actress?
Although it took me a little while to really love Caplin’s character. I loved Ruby’s character right from the start. She is this hard working, reader and she doesn’t take any crap from anyone. I loved her. And I loved her love of books. And thankfully I slowly started to love Caplins character more and more too.
The best part of this book? Definitely the humor. Man, this book made me laugh. Especially those moments at the book club. Hilarious! I loved reading every moment of those gatherings. I got some confused looks from my husband while reading. But it was all worth it.. LOL!!
‘The Billionaire Book Club’ was definitely a fun read. And I can’t wait to read more books by Max Monroe.
When I read the book description of ‘My Brother’s Billionaire Best Friend’ a view weeks ago, I was immediately interested in this book. Not only did the description sound hilarious, but it also sounded very romantic and I was in definite need of reading a book like that. So when I got approved for a review copy, I was completely over the moon and started reading ASAP.
In ‘My Brother’s Billionaire Best Friend’ we meet Maybe Willis. Maybe just graduated college and is in search for a job at a publishing agency. In the meantime Maybe is working at her parents flower store and trying to pass the time. When her brothers best friend shows up, a.k.a. the guy she secretly loved for almost her complete childhood, after she hasn’t seen him in years.. she is determined to change her life around. She doesn’t want to pine for him anymore, she needs to take action. And boy she did..
Well, although I loved the book description, I must admit I didn’t really found the book cover all that charming. So I didn’t really know what to expect when I started reading this book. But from the moment I started reading, I was completely hooked. I absolutely loved this book! Not only where there many hilarious parts, the romance was great and I loved reading every single page. I definitely laughed oud loud a view times! Hilarious!
The romance between the two main characters Maybe and Milo was just amazing. Their chemistry flew from the pages and I found myself unable to stop reading. Yes! It was definitely that good! The characters where fun to get to know and I loved the fact we could read this story from both Maybe’s as Milo’s point of view.
The writing in ‘My Brothers Billionaire Best Friend’ was definitely great. It was hilarious, and kept me on the edge of my seat wishing I could read faster. Yes, this book really is one of my new favorite reads and I can’t wait to read more by Max Monroe.
