This week has been another busy one. I spend my Monday evening in a bar with two of my old colleagues. It was fun and we had a lot to catch up on. We ended the night with a nice dinner in this cute little pasta place. It was delicious!
On Wednesday my best friend came over so we could go over our trip to London in less than 2 weeks. (I’m sooooo excited!!!) On Thursday I woke up feeling horrible. Since our boy was already down with the flu, I figured I was next. So I spend my Thursday doing pretty much nothing except rest. Luckily it helped, and I felt a lot better on Friday.
Friday and Saturday where spend with my mom. We talked, we cried, we did some groceries and made plans for Sinterklaas, a Dutch tradition that has his ‘big event’ on December 5th. My mom also got me this beautiful necklace, on behalf of my (bonus) dad. It is a Pandora charm with a family tree, a little heart and an angel wing! I love it! We ended the night with ordering some very yummy Sushi. So good!
I hope to spend most of my Saturday night reading and just relaxing a bit.
Hope you guys are doing well!

Glad you had a good week! And that your cold didn’t linger…mine always tend to linger for some reason! The necklace is really pretty! I always love special meanings behind my jewelry, though usually they tend to just be pieces I really liked.

Thanks Emily. It was pretty good overall.
I want to have a Sinterklaas celebration and go to London!
You can always come to Holland for Sinterklaas. 😉
Sorry your kiddo caught the flu, but good that you were able to rest. Fun that you got to go out with friends, plan a trip, and spend lovely time with your mom. Are you going to put out your shoe and have some Sinterklaas cookies for the holiday? Happy (early) Sinterklaas!
LOL! Our kids definitely put out their shoe two times already. 😉
Have a great week and happy reading.
What a wonderful gift from your mom – and a lovely way to remember and feel close to your dad.
