If I could be with you…I would.
If I could tell you all my secrets…I would.
If I could explain why I had to leave…I would.
But I can’t.
I want to finish what we started…And be with you.Forever.
But I don’t know how.
Just please… believe me.I would.If I could.

After reading the book blurb of ‘If I Could’, I knew I wanted to read this one. So I signed up to read an ARC, and when I was lucky enough to receive one I started reading as soon as I could.

In ‘If I Could’ we meet Sage and Kyle. Both have been through hell these last few months, and the last thing they should do is start something together. But from the moment Sage and Kyle meet there has been a connection between the two of them and it’s hard to stay away from each other. But Sage is hated around town, and has to work hard for everything she’s got. And Kyle is in hiding. And the best thing he can do is stay away from Sage. But that seems to be impossible.

‘If I Could’ was definitely a great story. I loved reading every single moment. The two main characters Sage and Kyle where great to get to know. And I loved them both. Sage was this girl who seemed to be this girl-next door type. The type of girl you definitely loved to be friends with. And I loved the banters between her and her best friend.

Then there is Kyle. This handsome, mysterious guy who instantly felt attracted to Sage. I loved how it took so long for me to figure out what was going on with Kyle. It gave this book some mystery, which I definitely enjoyed. And the chemistry between Sage and Kyle was amazing. I loved them. Sure, there insta-romance seemed a bit much at times. But I enjoyed it.

There where some moments in this book that didn’t work as much to me. For example the moment when Sage and Kyle meet. Kyle is so rude, and such a grumpy guy. And the next moment he is kind of sweet and kind. That just didn’t really work as well for me. But luckily the other moments in this book made up for these little bits that didn’t work.

Overall ‘If I Could’ was a fun read. And I’m super curious about the story of Sage’s best friend and the cop. I sure hope there is a book coming about them.
