After absolutely devouring ‘Always Mine’, the first book in this standalone Honey Mountain series, I knew I wanted to read every single book in this series. So I signed up as fast as I could when I saw the ARC sign up for ‘Ever Mine’. And I was so excited to start reading when I received the ARC a little while later.

In ‘Ever Mine’ we read the story of the oldest Thomas sister Everly. Everly is making a name for herself as a sports psychologist. Now she has her first real client, and it’s her shot at getting the job she always dreamed of. The one downfall? Her client is the guy she left behind nine years ago. Her first love and her only love Hawk Madden. Hawk is one of the biggest players in the Hockey league, and he has a big decision to make about his future. But can the one girl he loved help him?

This was one of those books I already knew I would love before I started it. And boy was I right! I loved getting back to Honey Mountain. And after getting a glimpse of Everly’s character in the previous book, I just knew I would love her story. And from the moment I started reading ‘Ever Mine’ I was hooked.

The chemistry between Everly and Hawk was something that could easily be felt coming of the pages. And I loved every minute of their story. Everly made a decision almost a decade ago that made her leave her first love Hawk behind. She always thought about him, and never found what she felt with him again. But she made a decision that she believed she had too, and she still thinks she did the right thing. After all these years, Everly and Hawk finally are able to talk about what happened and it made for some amazing moments.

Although I’m not a big Hockey fan, reading about Hawk definitely made me love the sport more. We don’t even get to read a lot about the sport itself, but I just loved his character so much I couldn’t get enough of it. Hawk was just a very fun guy. He knew what he wanted, and was never afraid to speak his mind. He was really rich, but never acted better than anyone else.

The romance between Everly and Hawk was just so good. And I loved every moment of this read. There was plenty of heat, and I devoured every page. I also enjoyed reading about the other Thomas sisters, and I’m so curious to read the other books in this series as well.

Overall, another amazing read in this series!
