This week was our 5 year wedding anniversary, and 15 years since we had our first date. For the first time in almost three years, we were able to celebrate the way we planned too. We had dinner at the location we got married at. And it was wonderful. Not only did we have some great food, it was also so nice to finally be able to go there again. And to top things off, I got this gorgeous wooden statue from my husband. Apparently 5 years of marriage is a wooden wedding anniversary. So thoughtfull!
Our renovation is going a bit slower than planned still, but hopefully they will finish things up in the upcoming week. Then its time for us to do our thing.. What kind of floor? Painting or wallpaper? What kind of curtains? Luckily we have all the time to figure that stuff out. And hopefully I’ll be able to free my bookcases from the protective shields I put over them.
I signed up for a few ARC’s this upcoming week. I thought I had all the time in the world for them.. but now some other ARC’s have been moved to next week as well, and I received another I didn’t expect anymore. I’m really excited!! But I’m not sure I’ll get them all done. LOL!! #BookBloggerProblems

Happy Anniversary! That’s amazing! Hope you have many more happy years to come! And yay for new reads! It can be stressful when all the books come in at once! I feel like that every time I get a slew of Netgalley/Edelweiss approvals! They all come in at once and they’re usually in the same release date area too! Lol.

Our renovations have been taking over a month longer that anticipated already and I am just gatvol (try to see if you can figure that word out..!) Our deadline is now 2 weeks. I hope they make it!
