This was one of those weeks where you wonder where the days went. I honestly can’t remember what I did every day, with the exception of the ‘normal’ stuff.
Our home renovation has been going on for two weeks now. This week not a lot has happened since they were so much ahead of schedule after the first week. Which is obviously a good thing.. but I just wished they could have finished sooner rather than do nothing for a few days. The construction world is definitely very different than the nursing world! LOL!!
On Friday we went to the zoo with a girlfriend and her little girl. It was so cute to see our little girls enjoy playing together and walking hand in hand. And my little boy just smiled and enjoyed looking around.
On Saturday we went on a lunch date with the grandparents. The weather has been great, so the kids were able to play while we talked and ate.
This week I got approved for some great sounding reads on Netgalley. I honestly can’t wait to read them all. So today, Saturday, I’m going to spend my evening reading. And as is tradition in our home, Eurovision will be on in the background.

Glad you enjoyed the zoo. It’s a shame that being ahead of schedule with construction doesn’t mean you will be completed ahead of schedule, isn’t it?
It really is. And we’ve just heard we probably will have some delay as well. Sigh..
Happy reading.
Oh nice! Glad you had a nice time at the zoo. I haven’t been to ours in years. And now that we’ve entered 90 degree weather time, all the time, I probably won’t get back anytime soon! Lol.
Nice new reads! Those are all new to em ones but I hope you enjoy them all!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
LOL!! No that’s not a temperature to be in a zoo. 😀
Happy reading.
I hope you enjoyed the zoo! Home renovation is so frustrating, especially with the prices going up and up on everything home-related. I have been trying to clean up my Netgalley list before I request more but I have my eye on a few! My Sunday Post: https://bonniereadsandwrites.wordpress.com/2022/05/15/sunday-post-4/
So true. Hopefully they will be done soon. Happy reading.
Sounds like a good week and how cute are those little girls???
Really cute right?! I just couldn’t keep that photo to myself 😀
It has been a long time since I could visit your blog. I hope you are doing good.

Happy reading.
I am always impatient to get work done once a project starts. It sounds like you had a wonderful day at the zoo and a nice lunch with the grandparents. Enjoy all of your new reads and have a great week!
LOL!! Yes, that’s definitely me as well.
Happy reading.
Glad you enjoyed the zoo. I hope you have a great week.
