So it’s been a while since I last did a Sunday Post. With getting used to my new job, our new routine with working regular hours, and just life with two small kids in general, I just couldn’t seem to find the energy to do a Sunday Post. But what better day to get back into it then Easter?! And I’m really curious how you guys have been doing?!

Here things have been going pretty well. I’ve been working at my new job for almost four months now, and I’m loving it. I even got a permanent contract already which means I won’t have to worry about my job at all. Which is a hug relieve for a perfectionist like me.

Working regular hours and days has been amazing for me and my family. Just being able to be with my husband and kids in the weekend feels so good. I love it.

Out little girl turns four after the summer, and we visited her new school a few weeks ago. She is really excited about it, and I have very mixed feelings. Any moms out here will understand! But luckily we still have a few months to get used to the idea of her going to school five times a week.

Our baby boy turned  one in February. I can’t believe how fast he is growing. He took his first steps today and he is one happy little guy. He is so curious, and has more energy than his parents for sure. LOL!! He sleeps perfectly through the nights, but during the day he has days where he only sleeps about an hour. But if he is happy… I am too.

My husband is still struggling with his back hernia. But slowly things are improving. He hasn’t been able to really work for months now, and for someone who has worked from an early age on.. it’s been hard. On him but also on me. I just hate seeing him in pain, and struggling with the feeling of not being able to participate. And honestly, having him home all the time has been an adjustment for me too. Not in a bad way, but I’m just not used to having him around me all the time.

My reading has been going very well these last few months. I’ve been trying to only read the books I feel really excited about, and I’ve been reading some great books for sure. I’ve been sharing my reviews here as usual, and I’ve also tried to share on Instagram.

And today we are celebrating Easter with my parents and best friend. First a brunch here at home, and then we are off to my best friends place.
