GoodreadsA sexy, forbidden, billionaire, stand-alone romance from USA Today best-selling author Marni Mann …
I’ve always been a good girl.
But the second I walk into the hotel bar, I see temptation.
The man sitting there is delicious. Older. Experienced. Once our eyes meet, I know I’m not walking away unscathed. I’ve heard about men like Jenner Dalton—richer than God and hotter than sin. He’s got heartbreak written all over him.
But it only takes fifteen minutes before we’re headed up to his room.
I’ve never done anything like this before, but something tells me he’s worth it. Every swipe of his tongue feels electric, every kiss sets me on fire, and his experience has me begging for more.
And more.
And more.
In one week, I’ll return to college in Miami.
He’ll go back to being LA’s most eligible billionaire.
The miles and years between us are just too many for this to mean anything.
So, between now and then, I plan to spend every moment being anything but good …
After reading the first book in the Dalton Brothers series ‘The Lawyer’ last year, I knew I wanted to read more about these brothers. So when I received the ARC of the Billionaire, I got super excited and started reading as soon as possible.
In ‘The Billionaire’ we meet the middle Dalton brother Jenner. Jenner is a lawyer, just like his brothers, and works hard for everything he has. And he has a lot. More money than he can spend, he loves getting lost in his work, spending time with his brothers and one night stands. He is one of those guys who is an acclaimed bachelor, and never spends more time with one woman than necessary. But everything Jenner knows, and wants changes the moment he lays eyes on Jo.
Jo is a lot younger than Jenner, almost graduating college, and she still isn’t completely sure how she wants to spend her life. Jo definitely isn’t a girl who does hookups. But when she sees Jenner for the first time, she knows he can make her do anything. Not that she would ever tell him that. Jenner and Jo soon become addicted to one another. But there is a lot standing between them. For one.. Jenner doesn’t fall in love and her certainly doesn’t do relationships.
‘The Billionaire’ definitely doesn’t do a slow introduction. Right from the very first page, we are in the middle of the story. Jenner and Jo meet, and their sexy and intense relationship starts right away. And although it shook me a bit to find myself right in the middle of the story of Jenner and Jo, I definitely enjoyed every moment.
My favorite character in this book was definitely Jo. Yes she is very young. Only twenty two. But she is fierce, and feisty and definitely is very mature for her age. I loved how she was easily able to stand up to Jenner and his ways. And above all I loved how she loved with everything she has. And Jenner definitely wasn’t a horrible character either. He was fun and charming and he definitely made me swoon.
Just as in the first book in this series, there are a lot of steamy moments in this book. And a lot of ‘dirty talk’. I enjoyed it, but I could have done with a bit less of those moments. I love the romance, and the connection between Jenner and Jo. And yes, that included some steamy moments, but less would have worked for me too.
‘The Billionaire’ was a great romantic story that pulled me in right away and kept me hooked till the very last page. There is just something about those Dalton Brothers that makes me want to read more. And I for one can’t wait to read the story of the youngest Dalton brother too.

I like the sound of Jo, too. I’ll have to put this series on my list.
I hope you’ll get to read it 😉
Glad it hooked you. You’ve piqued my curiosity, even if I don’t like the billionaire genre.
It definitely was a fun read.
