The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news ~ A Post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
I’m
writing this on Friday morning because we are going on a trip this weekend. And
I’m super excited. We are going to Den Haag, or The Hague it’s called in English. The Hague is a city on the western coast of the Netherlands and we are going
with two friends. We booked two rooms in the Hilton there. And I’m super
excited. We got this great deal on a beautiful hotel room there and we’re are
leaving around 10 a.m. this morning, till Sunday. My husband and his best
friend are going to this international Whiskey event today till 5 p.m. and
while I’m waiting on my husband’s best friends girlfriend (LOL!! Do you still
follow?) I’m going to browse the beautiful book stores there. She will be here in
the afternoon, so I’ll have some time. And we will go out to dinner, and just
have a lot of fun this weekend. So I won’t be blogging at least till Sunday
evening.
This week
was pretty slow. I worked the final four days of my six dayshifts in a row and
I was completely exhausted. But it was a good week!
Books
& Blogging:
Blogging
wise I’ve tried to visit as many as you guys as I could possible squeeze in. I’m
still not completely satisfied, so I’ll try to do more this week. It’s a
challenge sometimes with working full time as a nurse, starting my promotion
business, doing house work and spending time with my husband.. But I’ll find my
way soon! :D
This week
another Sign-Up went life for Maureen’s Books Promotions. It’s a Book Promo for
‘Grigori: A Royal Dragon Romance’ by Lauren Smith. ‘Grigori’ is a Paranormal Romance
novel and the promo will be for December 14th. If you have a spot left, I would
love it if you could sign up!
Next week
there will be another Sign-Up ready to go. It’s for a ten day event in January
and I’m super excited about it. Keep your eyes open for the sign up! ;)
I also updated my 'My Favorite' list for 2018. So check it out if you're interested!
So things
are going pretty good. I’ve been reading in the late hours of the evenings, and
I’m definitely feeling like I’m completely back in reading paradise. LOL!! I
should stop requesting book on Netgalley though. My TBR is getting to damn
long!! Sigh..
How was
your week? What did you read?

Oh, you're on a trip! That's so cool :) I hope it's going well? Sounds like fun, anyway. The funny thing is that you said "We're going to a WHISKEY event. I'm going to browse BOOKSTORES." I feel like that sentence says a lot about you :DDD (and I approve too! However... How are there bookstores there xDD)
ReplyDeleteWhahahaha.. The men went to the Whiskey Event and I went to the bookstore! :D It was great. It definitely was a fun trip.
DeleteI hope your having a great week! ;)
Have a fabulous trip! It sounds like it will be fun.
ReplyDeleteThanks Chrissy! We had a great time.
DeleteHave a great week and happy reading!
Ooh, I would love to visit The Netherlands. My daughter and son-in-law were in Amsterdam in June (on their honeymoon, which mostly focused on Prague); and my granddaughter is doing a semester in Prague and enjoyed a weekend in Amsterdam this past week.
ReplyDeleteOf course, The Hague was not one of the places they visited....but I'm hoping you enjoyed it.
Thanks for sharing, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
Amsterdam is my favorite city! But Den Haag was definitely very awesome too! I loved it, and I can't wait to visit again. I hope your daughter had a great time in Amsterdam. ;)
DeleteHave a great week and happy reading!
Ooh enjoy the Hague! Sounds fun. The whiskey event and bookstores both sound like great pastimes. :)
ReplyDeleteLove that cover of Thunder Moon!
It definitely was a fun weekend. The bookstores where amazing.. Somehow every bookstore looks new and exciting, although they obviously have some similarities.
DeleteHave a great week and happy reading!
I hope you’re having fun on your trip! Have a great week!

I did stop requesting things on NetGalley, but those auto approvals get me. I'm working on it though! Your weekend sounds like fun - I hope you have a blast!
ReplyDeleteNetgalley really isn't good for those TBR! Whahaha.. But I still can't help myself.
DeleteHave a great week and happy reading!
